White balance
Category: Lighting and optics
White balance adjusts an image so that neutral colours appear neutral under the light used, removing colour casts from warm or cool sources. It is set in the camera or corrected in post-production, ideally from a neutral reference.
How PhotoRobot uses it
PhotoRobot Controls stores white balance calibration values per product or per workstation and applies them automatically to all output.
