Batch processing
Also known as batch editing, bulk operations. Category: Photography techniques
Batch processing applies the same operations, such as cropping, background removal or colour correction, to a whole set of images at once. It is the basis of consistent, high-volume product photography.
How PhotoRobot uses it
In PhotoRobot Controls, editing operations apply to all images of an item by default, and scopes limit them to a folder, a swing angle or one image. Bulk operations run in the cloud in the background; PhotoRobot states a batch typically takes about one minute while the studio photographs the next product.
